This program provides you with the opportunity to experience three disciplines in Journalism, Media Production and Public Relations. It is a career-oriented program which produces multi-skilled graduates with experience in radio and television production, corporate communications, magazine editing, broadcast journalism, sports writing, script writing, print journalism and any number of related fields associated with Public Relations, Journalism and Media Production.
This program is suitable for students interested in developing skills in more than one specialised area of the communications industries. Once you have obtained foundational skills in Journalism, Public Relations and Media Production, you are able to concentrate your studies on one or two of these areas.
If you have an interest in more than one area of the communications industries and would like to learn more about different media professions before choosing to specialise your skills, then Professional Communication is for you.
Professional Communication students gain a broad knowledge of how different media professions complement and differ from each other.
