Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP)
A CSP is jointly funded by the Commonwealth Government and the student. The amount to be paid by the student is defined by discipline ‘bands’. In 2009, the following student contribution rates for a standard, annual, full-time load apply (prices listed are maximum student contribution amounts):
National Priority: maximum amount is $4,162—education, nursing, science, mathematics and statistics.
Band 1: maximum amount is $5,201—humanities, behavioural sciences, social studies, clinical psychology, foreign languages, visual and performing arts.
Band 2: maximum amount is $7,412—built environment, computing, health, engineering, surveying and agriculture.
Band 3: maximum amount is $8,677—accounting, administration, economics, commerce, law, dentistry, medicine and veterinary science.
Students who undertake more or less than a full-time study load, or who study courses from a combination of the above categories, will be charged the proportionate student contribution.

This program prepares you to work in Public Relations, an industry dealing with the construction and maintenance of positive relationships between organisations and the people and groups they depend upon for their wellbeing. You will gain professional skills and knowledge of communication combined with a sound understanding of the broader political, economic, social and technological environments in which organisations operate. Throughout the program there is an emphasis on developing problem solving, organisational and project management skills, and the ability to work in and lead teams.

Entrance Requirements
Current Year 12 prerequisite units 3 & 4—a study score of at least 35 in English (any).
Non-Year 12 applicants are encouraged to apply and may be required to have relevant employment or evidence of experience and/or ability to meet the demands of the program.
