The School of Nutrition offers a graduate program leading to a Master of Health Science (MHSc) degree in Nutrition Communication that is unique in Canada. The School is a leader in the education of nutrition and food professionals. Admission Requirements and Application Procedures
Four-year bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Food (or equivalent), and
Minimum of a B average (or equivalent), and completion of at least one of each of the following: undergraduate research methods course (or equivalent), introduction to statistics course (or equivalent), an interpersonal/professional communications course, a course in biological sciences (e.g., physiology, biochemistry) , and a course in social sciences (e.g., sociology, psychology);
Two letters of recommendation;
Statement of interest in the master’s program in relation to your experiences and career aspirations (800-1000 words).

The objective of the Master in Communication in Nutrition and Health is to train professionals in the field of communication with ability to transmit information to the company quality, objective and rigorous related sector.
In addition to providing the knowledge necessary to understand its full dimension in the world of nutrition and health, the Master's program provides the students:
- A thorough knowledge of drafting techniques in order to "translate" for the general public expertise.
- A thorough knowledge of the techniques of business communication.
- The ability to respond since the report called "food crisis"

Admission Requirements (2008 - 2009)
Alberta High School diploma or equivalent with at least 60% in English Language Arts 30-1 or English Language Arts 30-2 or equivalents.
All applicants to SAIT Polytechnic must demonstrate English Language Proficiency prior to admission, including students educated in Canada. English Language Proficiency is a requirement for all SAIT Polytechnic programs. For more information, please refer to the English Proficiency section.

Graduates can pursue careers as technical communicators in a wide range of fields, including computer applications and development, banking and finance, telecommunications, engineering, health and nutrition, aerospace, manufacturing, environment and resources management. Graduates will find employment as technical writers and designers for product-user documents, reference manuals, templates, on-line help files, web pages, instructional and procedural documents and various marketing and organizational materials.
Admission Requirements and Equivalent Standing Guidelines
Applicants educated outside of Ontario must submit evidence of standing equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six Grade 12 U or M courses. It is essential that program-specific subject requirements and grades for specific Ryerson programs form part of the academic background of applicants from outside Ontario, especially in the last two years of secondary school studies.
