The profile of the professional degree of this area by UNIP meets contemporary innovations and transformations of culture media, the ability to develop both the ability to sense as efficient in preparing the information for any media.

The journalist needs to determine the fact, the inclusion in the agenda, the wording of the information and its later edition to appear in printed media, electronic and digital.

In the course offered by UNIP, there is special emphasis on the responsible development of text and capture the moment of the news (images) to be conveyed, respecting the language and format specific vehicles of communication such as newspaper, magazine, radio, television and internet .

In the first stage of the course, students receive a high burden of cultural information, which enables to take a broad overview and critique of social reality and their daily lives. In a second time, in possession of that vision and previous knowledge, the course becomes essentially practical, ensuring the application of acquired knowledge to market requirements and situations encountered in life.

Degree in Communication Sciences at Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa Luís de Camoes Portugal

The Bachelor of Communication Sciences was established in 1989/90 academic year 1128/90 by Order of November 15, responding to a clear demand for training in the area.

The Autonomous University of Lisbon, the first private university to create a degree in Communication Sciences, with specializations in Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, was also a pioneer in the construction of the roots of Television and Radio studios.

Currently, the graduate student population offers its conditions for learning and producing professional level, thanks to recent investment in upgrading the entire space and the technological upgrading of the studios of Radio and Television, which currently offer conditions of production in all equivalent the real market. It is in this context that work with regular internal channels of Television and Radio.

The most recent amendment of the Plan of Graduate Studies in Communication Sciences (2006), in order to adapt it to the Bologna process, it became more consistent and appropriate training requirements that arise to “comunicólogos” in contemporary society .
