Degree of Communication in English at Malmo University
Wednesday, March 25th, 2009The course develops the student’s knowledge of current research in the fields of linguistics, literary/cultural studies, and fosters independent cross-disciplinary thinking. The course also prepares students for research at the post-graduate level and provides opportunities for students to reach levels of proficiency in English which will enable them to communicate in specialized academic and professional contexts.
The main teaching forms are the seminar, individual tutorials, and self-study. Individual study plans are contracted, within the framework of which students are encouraged to spend part of the semester overseas in an English-speaking department.
